The designo appointments packages are based on four leather colours: designo black, designo cashmere beige, designo porcelain and designo light brown. Various parts of the interior get the designo treatment in one of these colours, including the comfortable sports seat in designo leather, which features six-rib vertical fluting and a matt chrome-plated designo metal badge. The selected designo leather colour also accentuates the front armrest lid, the door pulls and the door armrests.

One particularly eye-catching feature is the upper section of the dashboard trimmed in black nappa leather which is optionally available in combination with designo leather, or for the ML 63 AMG. The trim elements are finished in a choice of designo umbra maple grain or designo brown poplar. Colour-coordinated velour floor mats in black with leather edging in designo leather and a designo badge round off the design perfectly.
